The Islamic Art Research Center of Negareh, with a license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, has established the journal "Sofalineh" (Persian for "Pottery/Ceramics") under the supervision of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. This initiative aims to provide suitable platforms for the development and qualitative enhancement of research, as well as the publication of scientific and cultural achievements, research, and experiences from scholars across the country in the field of traditional arts and handicrafts.
Registered under number 21677 on 06/13/2011, the journal is published as a specialized biannual scientific periodical. It features articles by faculty members and graduate-level art students. The goal of Sofalineh Journal is to publish the results of scientific and cultural research in the domain of traditional arts and handicrafts, and it welcomes the submission of valuable scientific achievements from professors and researchers in this field. It is hoped that the activities of Sofalineh Journal will be a step towards the growth and advancement of knowledge.
Furthermore, in respect for natural resources and an effort to preserve them, Sofalineh Journal has been published exclusively in electronic format since 2022. To facilitate use by students, researchers, and specialists, and to foster broad communication with the global community and international experts, the journal provides free and open access to all articles on its official website.
This journal is committed to adhering to international publishing ethics standards as set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the executive bylaw of the law on prevention and dealing with fraud in scientific works.
